Hello everyone.
I want to raise the issue of Gomungulus's unacceptable behavior in yesterday's FFA tournament, because I simply can't calmly watch what's happening.
So, here's what happened.
1) Here's Gomungulus's turn:
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/669672890?t=13h00m32s
On his turn, Gom does the following:
a) Hires Luna in the tavern, gives her artifacts for a hit-and-run build with Armageddon;
b) Hit-and-runs Savitar's main hero with Luna;
c) Teleports his two main heroes (Dessa and Adel) to another respawn point and takes over the enemy town;
d) Puts both of his main heroes in defense;
e) His timer runs out, and he PASSES THE TURN!
2) Suddenly and "unexpectedly," Gomungulus (and who else?) experiences a crash (how convenient and, most importantly, timely), everyone reloads, and
3) Gom, as if nothing had happened, makes the following turn:
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/669672890?t=13h17m40s
a) Hires a hero with high spell power in the tavern for a hit-and-run build with Armageddon (Kasmetra);
b) Hit-and-runs Savitar's main hero with her. The damage to Savitar's army is almost the same as with Luna, and this is important!
--- up to this point, he seems to be doing the same things as before ---
c) SUDDENLY,
- when the timer is no longer pressing, and there is no need to make less effective decisions in a hurry (which he did then),
- when the entire turn is already known (because he has already made it),
- and the opponent's scouting has already been done on the previous turn before the crash (!),
NOW
d) Takes Adel (his second main hero), and hit-and-runs with her using Armageddon;
e) Then puts on shackles and attacks Savitar's main hero with Dessa (Gom's main hero).
Now the question is: what is this?
Kasmetra's hit-and-run damage to Savitar's main hero's army was almost identical to the damage Luna inflicted in the turn before the crash.
That is, there were no prerequisites for attacking with the main heroes! Savitar's army has not decreased significantly (literally by a few units) to decide to make a completely different turn!
I believe that this was completely unacceptable behavior towards the tournament players on the part of Gomungulus, and it is even a violation of the rules(!), because:
he, having already scouted the opponent, and no longer under pressure from the timer, without any reason, makes a completely different, much more effective(!) turn, which decides the outcome of the entire match!
Before the crash, a final attack was not planned, but, making this turn and without the pressure of the timer, Gom realized his mistake in the game (that he needed to attack, not run to defend in another respawn point), after (a very convenient crash, by the way), Gom sets up a final attack on favorable terms for himself. Without any reason, because this turn, compared to the turn before the crash, did not make any significant changes.
I remind you that the crash did not happen during the turn, but after Gom had already made his turn!
And on top of that, he is still provoking another player, against whom incorrect actions are taking place and who is not at all to blame!
Now tell me, why should other players put up with this and what will happen next? Will we just SWALLOW IT AGAIN, or is it time to do something?
And here are a couple of "interesting" observations:
- Convenient crashes (who said they were intentional?);
- Incredible jumps in the dark (who said it was streamsniping?);
- He immediately hid the video of the stream from this FFA and it cannot be viewed. Well, we'll wait for the cleaned and edited version on YouTube in a while);
- and other delights constantly happen in Gom's matches, which I have been observing for more than one year.
And, for some reason, this incredibly skilled Gom instantly flies out of the CIS in the first ranks,
and in the lobby, Gomungulus's rating is at the very bottom. Is it because in the lobby many of the opponents are noobs and don't stream?) But this is just a lyrical digression.
