Surely there isn't a single suspect? Maybe, for example, she had offended enemies? Or she just happened to be "in the wrong place at the wrong time"?

— They won't let me see her anymore. They said they're going to try to examine her memory again, and for that, they need to make sure that no new memories appear, and blah blah blah, a bunch of scientific and magical terms that I don't understand.
— So that's why you're being so nice today, you're worried about her? — asked Taffy.
— Of course!
— Yes, when the woman you love is in trouble, you become someone else, — Cezan tries to hug Maylin.
— As if you've ever loved anyone, — said Izemberta, and Maro and Taffy giggled.
