Consumables, except for the powder, are split in half. The glasses are for Decimus for now, the blade (knife? dagger?) is for Quint.

While his son was rushing around the shops, Quint relaxed on a rather stiff sofa, putting his feet on a chair. If he were a little more religious, or if he had killed fewer people in his life, he might have wondered how justified it was to kill a random passerby in order to possibly save the sister of his acquaintance, but at the moment, he was only concerned that the girl wouldn't blab anything in the short time she had left. It seemed he had miscalculated somewhere. All that remained was to pray that the miscalculation wouldn't be fatal.

If nothing noteworthy happens, Quint and Decimus head to the indicated house around ten o'clock in the evening. Quint changes clothes, takes a "cat" and a rope with him.
