The situation Axot found herself in evoked mixed emotions in the dwarven woman. On the one hand, the dire state of the city and the roaming Lahir meant she wouldn't be lacking work. If she was lucky, the local authorities wouldn't skimp on the reward. On the other hand, recent events had taken a toll on the lives of the Axotians, which made it difficult for her to wholeheartedly rejoice at the opportunity to earn some money. Many of them were almost certainly in a similar situation to the one she had found herself in a few years ago. And some were certainly even younger.
Initially, the mercenary planned to head straight to "Clean Hands" in search of work. But, unintentionally lost in gloomy thoughts, she decided to first visit the Temple of the Primeval Stone to clear her head and direct her thoughts in the right direction.

- Chotto matte, komusume," the card collector stopped the girl with a gesture of his hand, "don't rush. First, I would like to know what you know about it.

- Decimus! What... Who is this?! - Quint hissed at his son.
- It's not my fault! She came herself! - Decimus replied in a whisper, holding the limp body of the girl in his hands.
- What am I going to do with her now? What did you already tell her?

Not getting upset - the boy is right about that. Quint took a deep breath and looked around, checking to see if anyone could have seen them.
