Having somehow managed to tidy himself up, Felian rubbed his throbbing forehead: a stream of searing pain filled the vessel of his consciousness like a full-flowing river. Several days of continuous travel clearly did not go well with drinking, entertainment with girls, and a short sleep.
"At least I didn't have to pay for the lodging." - the fey tried to put himself in a good mood. These thoughts sounded somewhat detached and selfish. "No, in fact, this Bridget is quite nice. If I don't die on this mission, I should take her somewhere, as promised. It will still be cheaper than... ugh, never mind."
Thoughts of finances and the upcoming mission made Felian carefully examine his equipment. Fortunately, his light armor and paired swords remained in satisfactory condition. But he found no healing potions, provisions, or other useful items for battle.
The fey slapped himself on the forehead, instantly regretting it: a new wave of pain made him wince, exhaling heavily through his nose. Once, he did everything possible to survive and return home at any cost, but now... was there any point in it?
There was, obviously, a point. He might not care about himself, but his survival directly affected the lives of his allies. And the fey was not going to put others in danger in this way.
Somehow finding his purse, Felian turned it upside down and poured the remnants of his recent savings onto his palm. "I hope it's enough for something." Unfolding the city map, he quickly scanned it, looking for a suitable store. "Liquid pleasures? Most likely."
Having purchased 5 large health powders (45), as well as potions of evasion and accuracy (20), Felian hurried to the meeting place. The fresh morning air helped him to clear his head and come to his senses.
- Good morning, gentlemen, this is my partner - Jakamer Mud, - the goblin greeted them and introduced the juran.
- Hello, nice to meet you, - said the juran, taking off his hat.
- If you are ready, we can leave right now.
