Abdication

I've replayed it three times, but I still can't defeat the lord. I don't have enough time to reach the altar. The fourth time, I waited in the castle before the battle, but the lord didn't attack, and my army remained intact. I think I'll go to the altar a second time with my main hero, but I couldn't land on the shore because my empty ship was there. I returned, and Deidra destroyed everything. 3rd month, 3rd week, 2nd day.
