Abasdarhon's Castle

I really have no ideas for a character right now. I have some rough ideas for older concepts, and even one for a maniac, but for some reason, I can't come up with anything for this elf that suddenly appeared. Maybe I should gather all the clichés and write a bio based on them, or has that already been done?

Would Lafir be accepted into the society of mages? I mean, you probably have to be an elf and a republican there.
I need to think about this carefully. What do they even do there? There's not much information available.
