Challenge maps

Is it another bug? I don't see any other explanation. He has 5 Archons, with 99 attack and defense. We only have 2 weak Gnolls with 1 attack and defense. Our spells are Curse and Bloodlust. In an open battle, even with 3 Gnolls, we wouldn't stand a chance. :confused:

This doesn't mean that the hero is going into battle with 2 or 3 Gnolls against a hero with 5 Archons. It simply means that an additional Gnoll would allow us to build an army strong enough to defeat the 5 Archons.

But how else can this battle be won, if you don't mind sharing?

The strategy, as applied to this specific battle, ultimately proved unviable. The idea was to have one Gnoll running in a circle, constantly pursued by one stack of Pikemen, while a second Gnoll runs behind this stack, one tile away and out of reach, with two other groups of Pikemen chasing him. We managed to complete a few circles clockwise, and then we had to switch one of the Pikemen groups from the second Gnoll to the first, which was pure chance and couldn't be consistently reproduced. I never managed to complete the battle in this way.
