My opponent was having terrible luck with the terrain, while I had a strong Earth magic unit on my second turn. To take advantage of this, I built a Town Hall covering the entire fourth area, although I was building a Grand Mage and essentially got a Town Portal there as well. This allowed me to expand earlier, but the center was not very straightforward, and there were 0 Water creatures on the entire map, so it was not easy to capitalize on the tempo advantage. tfp.
