The author of a specific version can be anyone, and they also indicate themselves and the template version number there. 3. If you treat each other with respect, then you don't even need to get confused about the numbering of versions – just communicate with the active authors (MKS, Freeman?) and agree on the numbers. Or add some kind of unique prefix/suffix to the number – then you can number them however you want in your own garden. 4. None of the players whose opinion may matter will ever get confused about the version numbers if the authors ensure that these versions are freely available and provide a proper change history. EXAMPLE Xenofex MT_JC Any two reasonable people will figure it out and come to an agreement. Those who cannot even handle this will still play whatever they happen to find. And essentially, such discussions are not for them or about them. At any time now or in the future: 5.1. The Hoty team is free to choose and promote any version. 5.2. Tournament organizers are free to choose and promote any version. 5.3. Players are free to choose and play any version. 5.4. Any enthusiast can take any existing template version and create their own new one, as they say, with black dragons and sea sorceresses.
