Iran started aggressively, quickly taking the Light faction and defending against Erin. It looked like it would be an interesting finale, with the possibility of using the Ring of Sin to cast Holy Word on Kaspar, although it's not certain if he wouldn't have a similar ring himself... As it was, the Iranian player reached level 19, and Erin, with her Tome of Darkness and hydras, was clearing the Treasury and approaching the Mentor and Sandro's Cloak. But it wasn't meant to be. Working remotely and playing at the same time is a challenge; she couldn't manage the timer, and since she had used all the allotted load times, she surrendered to the Necropolis player. We're starting a second game now.
