The storytelling in the game was masterful and the plot always kept me guessing. I remember gasping whenever a new twist came up and by the end, I was thoroughly convinced that it was one of the best visual novels I had ever played (and I've played many!)
It's funny because I actually liked it for the opposite reason – all the twists are predictable long before they are revealed, thanks to the many hints scattered throughout the plot. This meant that the storyline didn't rely on plot devices and was instead built very harmoniously, and it was also complemented by some great humor, which made the whole journey a very enjoyable experience. The localization, however, as always, lived up to its reputation, but all you can do is shrug it off.
