Having taken two restarts, I decided not to take a third, as overall the distribution was normal. My opponent did not take a single restart. Apparently he was tempted by Gunnar and the paths to 3 adjacent zones. There were plenty of experience stones; I cleared them with Vistan, and then it turned out he had taken Tactics and Earth Magic. I settled on a temporary (there is nothing more permanent) grind of his hero; eventually he also got Logistics. The entrances to the treasure zones were fairly close, so I wasn't worried about my own treasure zones. But I spotted an entrance to his near a passage through wasteland. I ran there. I was afraid the opponent would start digging for the Grail, but on turn 127 I saw from the gold that he didn't have it, so I calmed down. I leisurely cleared a treasure zone while watching Adela, for whom I specifically bought Air Magic because of the opponent's heroes. There I found +6 All stats, an Air Magic book on the ground, and a +5 All stats sword and a +4/+4 breastplate in a level 3 Dragon Utopia. Then I used a scout hero to take one of the opponent's castles and went to clear another treasure zone, so that I could eventually take another Dragon Utopia in the treasure zone where, as it turned out, the opponent had entered. I beat the opponent by blocking the Dragon Utopia with my hero on the last move, but I couldn't fight because the guard was not broken through. On the next turn, I broke through, and it was not for nothing that I blocked it, because there was a +3 necklace and an Earth Magic book. Then, with control, I went to kill the opponent without any problems; he used Finale, which went through one gate because the stats weren't countered. Thank you for the game!
An interesting game, but I fell a bit short; I spent a long time building up my magic and as a result got Dimension Door late, ultimately giving up a Dragon Utopia in my treasure zone. The opponent's treasure zones were richer, but it was playable. By the finale, our armies were equal, but after all stats I had only 10 more. Thank you for the game.
