After taking two restarts, I decided not to take a third, as the distribution was generally good. My opponent didn't take any restarts at all. It seems he was tempted by Gunar and the paths to three adjacent dwellings. There were a lot of resource dwellings, I cleared them with Vistan, and then it turned out he had taken Tactics and Earth magic. I temporarily focused on hindering him (there's nothing more permanent), and eventually, he even got stuck in a log. The entrances to the resource dwellings were quite close, so I wasn't worried about my own. However, I saw an entrance to his resource dwelling near a path through rough terrain. I headed there. I was afraid that my opponent would start digging for the Grail, but on turn 127, I saw from his gold that he didn't have enough, so I calmed down. I cleared the resource dwelling at a leisurely pace, while Adela watched, whom I had specifically bought air elementals for to harass his heroes. There, I found +6 to all stats, an air magic book on the ground, and a +5 to all stats sword and a +4/+4 breastplate in a tier 3 utopia. Next, I took one of his castles with a rogue and went to clear another resource dwelling, in order to eventually take another utopia in a resource dwelling, which my opponent had apparently entered. I beat him to it by blocking the utopia on the last move, but I couldn't attack because the guard was too strong. On the next turn, I broke through, and it was worth blocking, because there was a +3 amulet and an earth magic book. Then, with control, I easily went to kill my opponent. He gave me the final battle, which went through a single gate, because the standing units weren't countered.
