These creatures will periodically appear on the maps at the location of the "random creature, of such and such a level" marker. Plus, they will be guardians in some buildings. A Titan in a pyramid, a Kraken in a sunken Temple, an Elf in a ship, a Blazing Golem in a Dwarf Fortress, and a Re-forged one in a Mage Guild. In short, it should be more or less balanced. So that it doesn't turn out that your building is guarded by an invincible Kraken, while your opponent has some kind of Angel.

I don't want to give level 8 to anyone for the same reason. And I don't really understand the point of making "super-mega-ultra-cool" creatures. We're not five years old, are we?

Do the Elves have an initiative of 16? Like the Furies? That's harsh... Maybe we shouldn't max it out so much? Instead, they could have some agility (with an increase in level?). If the Kraken occupies more than 4 squares (I couldn't tell from the screenshot), then I agree, it's better to make it a level 8 creature with increased stats. Otherwise, it's probably not necessary.
Is that too much? I think I based it on the Dancers, but I reduced the damage by half and gave it a double attack.
