How do I change the models of characters that already exist in the game?

The question is as follows: if I want to replace the model of an Archangel with the model of a Death Knight, but without creating a new unit, and so that the classic Death Knight remains, but I simply change the appearance of the Archangel. Are there any manuals, or can someone explain which files I need to work with? I haven't found anything specific.
