Dreams.

I ran around on a level from Dungeon 3, and a tough mob appeared. I was too lazy to switch to a better weapon, and it killed me. I replayed, took a Soul Cube to craft so I could one-shot it, went back there, but the script didn't work. Students are sitting in a classroom, taking notes, all rosy-cheeked and happy. Before, they would turn into monsters, and the professor would turn into that mob. I left feeling unsatisfied.
And before that, there was a dream where I asked someone to make me an omelet, they agreed and made it not the way I wanted, but very badly. I got very angry and redid it myself. Why agree in the first place if you're going to do a bad job? I just tore it to shreds in my dream, no wonder demons followed after that.
