An interesting line of thought, but I once pondered this and came to a much simpler conclusion: evolution. If we remove all sorts of complex natural processes and religious judgments, we can observe that quite simple organisms eventually gave rise to humans, and therefore nothing prevents them from going further and creating even more perfect creations with their own hands. That's how it should work, in theory.
