My friend and I were playing with Freshmod, and we had a tough time connecting.
Luckily, Quentin, the Freshmod developer, somehow ended up on my stream.

So, I had Freshmod 5.3 running normally in HD Launcher, but the checkbox for "gameplay changes" didn't appear when starting the game.
Quentin said that Freshmod wasn't working and that I needed to download a special file and install it on my computer. Apparently, it's not needed on some computers, but it is on others. He still needs to figure out why.
