Decided to share my experience in case anyone is having unexplained difficulties with Freshmod. Keba and I played with Freshmod, and we had a tough time connecting. Luckily, Quentin, the Freshmod developer, somehow ended up in my stream. Basically, I had Freshmod 5.3 connected normally in the HD Launcher, but the checkbox on the right for "gameplay changes" didn't appear when starting the game. Quentin said that Freshmod wasn't working and that I needed to download a special file and install it on my computer. Apparently, it's not needed on some computers, but it is on others.
