The fact that they earn money doesn't change anything. By the time you gather even 500 of them, they'll field 500 of the same dryads, which will fight much more effectively. Peasants have no advantages except for a tiny income.

I agree, even goblins are better, with their price of 10 regular and 20 upgraded, it justifies their cost. They are very good for healing cyclops, using them to throw at the enemy, and of course for sacrifice. And if anything, peasants can be put on the slave market, at least they'll bring in some money.
