Walkthroughs for custom maps.

Has anyone played the April battles map? I don't understand how to play at the beginning. I found 29 wood and 30 stone, and the last log can be collected on day 4. On day 4, 100 harpies arrive in the city of Kiffa, and I assume that by day 3, I should have captured the city. However, it's completely unclear how I should do this, because Lord Haart simply doesn't reach the passage guard, which requires 26 peasants and behind which lie the logs.
