Technical issues with Heroes III.

Hello. Can you tell me why, after the latest HD mod update, when selecting 32-bit mode and clicking "Single Player" in the menu, the game starts minimizing and opens a command prompt window with the names of custom portraits? Is this related to the new OpenGL and DirectDraw features?
