Markel is good, but it depends on the presence of undead on the map, meaning it's a matter of luck, and I don't like that, plus innate leadership – who would have thought to give a Necromancer leadership as an inherent trait, although on the other hand, you can replace the ghosts with someone more useful, but I don't like that either. Lucretia is strong, no doubt, but on the other hand, vampires aren't what they used to be.
