Regarding the randomness in battles. The randomness is incredibly frustrating, especially when you need to avoid a demoralization effect that reduces morale by -3. Considering that it occurs quite frequently (around 25%), you need to have a very strong mental fortitude to win a multi-round battle and not mess things up.
