Windows 10 and Heroes 3 – anyone know how to make it work? Help!

I have Windows 10 on my new computer. It wouldn't launch until I did the following: 1) Enabled DirectPlay as described above. 2) Then, I moved the game folder from the C:/Program Files (x86) directory to another location, for example, to the D drive. Apparently, the system doesn't allow changing files in that directory. Everything started working immediately after that.
