There are workers, yes! Although goblins are better at digging the ground with their pickaxes than cutting down trees... But there are many enemies. And they are all useless. At least they could drop some artifacts. But as it is, the army is melting before your eyes, and for melee factions, that's a death sentence. Or at least they could fight each other; that would be logical, I agree.
