Actually, I like the backstory of Heroes 5, and the fact that necromancers were former academics is also interesting (sorry for the analogy with gays), let's see how this conflict will develop in the add-ons ;-Р

Actually, the conflict between necromancers and academics has been going on since Heroes 2. And there, necromancers were no less powerful than mages. In Heroes 3, it is said about the conflict between necromancers and mages (the exile of Vidomina). And necromancers are really strong. They have been destroyed so many times, but they always revive.:D
