It really does seem like a cult – the lack of optionality and the inability to disable the new features of HotA (as it was implemented in WoG – the ability to play WoG under SoD).
Although, it would seem that this would only benefit the entire community.

HotA has a template editor in which you can, among other things, disable any objects (including all the new HotA objects). But it's easier to complain about the lack of optionality and the inability to disable the new features than to try to figure it out. This is what cultism and unwillingness to accept something new is.
