I'll make a small controversial statement regarding the death of SOD: I open the current season and see only SOD games. Are HotA players too lazy to write reports on this forum? Or is it just HeroesWorld forum that's dying, not SOD? Or is there another reason?
Regarding the rating, players have no reason to duplicate games on HeroesWorld, because there's a more global rating.
Not everyone is interested in just playing casually, so players participate in tournaments. As long as the lobby system doesn't support tournaments, people go to forums/websites/Discord. Since HotA is more popular now, and there aren't many HotA tournaments on HeroesWorld, everyone goes to other sites like h3.gg, etc. It all makes sense.
For HeroesWorld not to die, it needs to adapt and host more diverse tournaments specifically on HotA.
A very good question was asked by one of the players who submitted an application to the Новичок tournament.
Friends, explain the logic, please. Why is "Новичок" on SOD but in the HotA section?:smile22:
Are you sure that those who start playing now do so on SOD?
Or do you want to give beginners a "young fighter's course" with blockades on roads, roads through rocks, and other quirks?
I just entered the HotA lobby - 1171 people. In the SOD lobby - 75. The conclusion seems obvious.
Heroic history already knows many examples of various sites fading into oblivion without an influx of new players. So you can put on rose-colored glasses and think everything is OK, or you can try to somehow adapt to the changing system.
