Currently, 23 players have registered for the tournament. 2 of them are only playing at 200%. After a discussion and several private messages, it's clear that people want a timer, so we won't be changing anything regarding the timer. Regarding the Fresh Mod: I wanted to test it with the registered players, but I played a Fresh Mod Anarchy 160% game against zoog in the World Cup. It was fun; I was counting moves with Alt, rebuilding at any GM level, and enjoying other perks, but the mod didn't allow stealing or joining. Therefore, I've made the decision not to introduce the Fresh Mod due to its speed and potential bugs. However, anyone who wants to can play with it, as it really helps and improves the interface. Kventin says he has fixed the issue with deployments and guards. It would be good if players indicated in their reports whether they played with or without the Fresh Mod.
