The 8th stage of the annual John Van Caneghem Tournament (2007).

There, unlike in HW, the prevailing opinion is that the leader owes nothing to anyone during the verification process except to the organizer – it's considered that the intricacies of the playthrough are their personal intellectual property. And the organizer can request a public description at their discretion. And sometimes they ask for a description from players who aren't even the leaders.

Personally, I also adhere to this position – if you want to share your tricks with the community, do so; if not, that's your right.

In relation to our tournament, the leader could have explained how they managed to complete it in a week, or at the very least, simply outlined the main idea. And the organizer, with their authority, confirms that the saves have been accepted, which means everything is fine. If you don't trust the organizer, don't play... Another question is whether the leader can be asked to explain, but in no case should it be demanded...

Our portal has a certain educational slant only because the average skill level of the players is lower compared to HP. There, no one asks questions like how to defeat a Legion of Dwarves with a Butterfly or why diplomacy is needed... :) And as for super results, it very rarely happens that one player achieves something that no one else has thought of (as was the case in the current tournament) – that's why no one demands "saves for the barrel!"

That's all the explanation... Some may not like my position, but I'm saying what I think.
