The quest hasn't been counted, even though it's been much more than 21 days. As a result, the end of the festival with the elves doesn't trigger (I gave Lada money for a bribe, waited for > 5 days - no reaction. I'll try to win the competition (if the scripts allow it)...
By the way, the trick with setting up the program to run without optimizations, which I wrote about, eliminated crashes in all key points - the willow tree, the undead king, communicating with the elf king's deputy. It seems to be a universal recipe for Heroes of all versions on Windows 10:smile07:
