Yes, perhaps it's foolish not to pursue it. But if I start chasing money, popularity, etc., I'll lose respect for myself. When such material goals are set, I can't put my heart into it. It's difficult to overcome my own insecurities and beliefs. But maybe someday I'll be able to. I don't consider Heroes my job; it's a hobby. Of course, it interferes with my work, and it's becoming increasingly difficult to find time for it, but for now, I'm managing somehow. If I ever decide to quit my job completely and switch to streaming as my main job, then, who knows, maybe everything will change. At the moment, my main job is programming and computer maintenance. Guys like Tvaryna, Amilu, Reddi, Hell, Yar, etc., are on a completely different level in terms of understanding the game and conducting streams. That's why their popularity is more than justified. There's a certain element of HotA in them too, but I still think they would be watched on any version; it would just take longer to build an audience. I'm not a good streamer, commentator, or well-organized person, and publicity isn't really my thing. I try to take the initiative in some areas, but it's more out of a sense of desperation. Maybe if I ever see that players are no longer gathering for SoD and there are no more sponsors, then I'll quit Heroes altogether or start exploring HotA – I'm not ruling anything out. In general, I don't refuse anyone, whether it's SoD, HotA, or WOG, as much as possible when they reach out to me. But I simply don't have enough desire or time to switch to those as well. Maybe my perception of HotA is different in my head, maybe my level of play doesn't allow me to appreciate it, maybe something else – I don't know. But for now, I just don't feel like it. Regarding the lack of popularity of SoD among online players, I completely agree. In essence, yes, holding this tournament is partly an attempt to create additional activity specifically in SoD, to attract some attention to it, etc. I would actually prefer to watch other people's show tournaments on SoD, but there's a big problem with that. I sometimes drop in on HotA tournaments for a short time to see what's going on, but without much enjoyment, more out of interest or a desire to listen to the commentators or read the chat. Maybe if I spent more time studying HotA, my opinion would change, I don't know. But I don't think so. At least, I didn't like the older versions of HotA when I played them. Despite all this, I'm all for competition in Heroes – it allows the game to develop and grow. I use some of the HotA developments myself – the template editor, old plugins from HotA, etc. There are many interesting solutions in it, but for now, SoD outweighs it for me.
