World Team Cup 2019! Discussion about organizing the second world championship.

Thinking out loud:
1. Some guy wants to run a world champ (the second one) for 50k wood and then be proud of it himself and in front of those around him. Normal desire.
2. The guy found a content creator who will bust his gut for this, and it's a profitable investment because the content creator invests their own intangible resource much more seriously than the prize pool resource. Normal process.
3. The content creator sees an opportunity to raise the rating of their content with such a tournament - normal goal.
4. An attempt to revive dying SoD looks either like an opportunity to push the originality of one's content under the guise of pleasing all "federations" (by the way, did the Swedish national team even know which version they declined?) or as a way to bargain for features from HotA-Team. I would recommend the latter, because the former is proud decay, especially when trying to gather the main roster on HeroesWorld, where both HotA and at least HWrules are present.
5. The bit about Syrian roots was funny. An attempt to force a square peg into a round hole when there's no other way to turn a post-Soviet championship into a World Cup - normal desire)
6. The organizer's zeal to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, specifically to run a World Cup even with a team of animals - normal desire. Tomorrow only URLs will remain on the internet; no one will be reading all this turmoil. Although it looks funny in some places (with the Swedes), amusing in others, the person is trying, sees the goal and goes for it, even if there are failures in competence.
7. Regarding the Swedes and their refusal. Purely interested in the story of who exactly among the Swedes refused?) Maybe just delete that line or add another 150 countries there?
8. And the key point. IMHO you should play the version for which the majority of worthy participants are, or under the aegis of whichever forum you are running the cup on. There is a list of leagues, ok, try running it there with these prizes or their rules. I think unlikely. Yes, a World Cup won't happen on HotA, but here the question remains: spectacle or URL.
