World Team Cup 2019! Discussion about organizing the second world championship.

Please enlighten me: what active online Heroes portals exist currently? And could you name the top players who play by different rules?

At the last "World Championship" (which ultimately turned out to be quite decent), they didn't reach the prize-winning positions due to the Hive rules, or did they simply choose not to participate?

1. Regarding portals and rules. What do you mean by "active"? If we consider portals where players still communicate and play, there will be more of them (WCL with a chat and an active season (at least last year), the Polish Academy of War – there are still new messages on the forum, and similar portals). If, however, we consider "active" to mean those with a variety of tournaments and other events in addition to the season or just regular games, then we can mention the following:
- The Chinese League; I can provide a link to them.
- There is a Czech-Slovak community; I can provide a link to them.
- The Wog community – this is more offline.
- The Heroes portal – also mostly offline.

If you need more, I'll look through my notes from last year's World Championship.

Regarding the players – for example, Liophy (ranked among the top players on WCL) couldn't adapt. Tanenseto from the WCL league also played in that team. There were players in Romania who played using Game Ranger and also couldn't adapt and even violated the rules.

I have the feeling that someone is trying to catch me out on something...

Regarding the decent World Championship last year – actually, there was even more criticism of it than of this one.

I also oppose rewarding mods and new rules. If the Hive rules are not suitable, what's wrong with simply playing by the anarchy rules? It would be easier for everyone.

We are trying to organize a tournament based on the anarchy rules, while also incorporating a GM overhaul from any level and fixing bugs. But even this is met with criticism. Or are you in favor of not fixing anything at all, as it was before?
