all sorts of Grimms with questionable value

For some reason, which I still haven't been able to figure out, this is one of the most beloved characters among viewers, possibly only Western ones, but that's not certain.
Overall, my general impression after watching was similar, but even a good ending wouldn't have helped much, as the middle part was too tedious and stood in stark contrast to the engaging beginning.
