What would you change in Heroes of Might and Magic IV?
to Драккошка I've never played Disciples, but I had the idea, thinking about dragons of all kinds from the third game. Like, rusty, azure, crystalline ones. Or, for example, in Heroes of Might and Magic, the monsters of the so-called eighth level.
But there are such units in the fourth game: Dragon Lords, Gargantuars, Sorceress, Horrors with big mouths and lanterns on their foreheads :)SandroXXL;106669
And the idea of specialization is good; it stems from the individuality of each hero and their uniqueness.
:) What are you talking about?! Specialization in Heroes 4 has been around for a long time, and it's done better than in the third game. In the third game, when you buy a hero, you simply see that they have a specialization in, for example, seafaring, and there are several such heroes. But in the fourth game, all heroes of the same class seem to be the same and don't differ in any way; however, the developers have given you the opportunity to specialize the hero you choose during leveling up by making a specific choice of skills and their combinations. Thus, for example, by combining the skills of Necromancy and Combat, we get a hero specialization - Assassin! which the developers or translators also seem to call a class. The Assassin's any weapon is poisoned! Where else will you find that?! And a hero with the Noble specialization is a combination of the skills of Nobility and Chaos. And if he adds the Combat skill to level 3, but the skills of Chaos and Nobility are more dominant, then in addition to his NOBLE specialization, he gets the right to the first strike and turns into a TERMINATOR :) Moreover, players in the fourth game have the right to create a hero with the specialization they need from ANY hero. It's just that it will be more difficult to create a NOBLE from, for example, a Death Knight. This will take more time and a corresponding setup in the game. Therefore, if you want to orient a hero towards a specialization of this type, it is better to hire a hero with the initial skill of Nobility or a Chaos hero. The topic is very extensive, but to say that there is no specialization in Heroes 4 in the same sense as in the third game? What's the point if it has its own specialization :)

That's right, what's the point of having a tavern with such a wonderful selection if all the heroes are still the same? Choose a more interesting biography or a prettier portrait? And it would be great to bring back the glorious tradition of the third game of choosing a starting hero. Fortunately, this was done in the fifth game. :)
I'll tell you a secret that they are not all the same, even of the same class :) There are thin and fat ones :) Pay attention to some of the Death Knights and the Mayeva-Chaos hero and the Nature heroes. Mayeva can squeeze onto the battlefield in a gap that no Nature hero can squeeze into. And, as I wrote above, you can buy heroes of the same class, and not only do they differ in physique, but you can also create heroes of DIFFERENT specializations by COMBINING skill upgrades ;) Драккошка;106699
It's bad IMHO that you can only hire a hero once a week:(
If you can hire as many heroes as you want in Heroes 4, then all the enemies are doomed! :) Although they are doomed anyway :)
Added after 21 minutes PS. What would I like to be added to the fourth game? A battle log :) and a recording of it on video, like in Heroes 5, at least.
