Of the original team, besides her, only Azarina, Parphinora, and Marei remained. At least, the girl had no particular problems with the first two – she had competed with both of them, and Rina was her classmate in Maya's lessons, while Nora commanded respect as a talented leader and strategist. However, Linnea would have preferred someone else instead of Marei – the taciturn grump might have been a talented mage, but he remained a taciturn grump. As for the others, Anelotta was still Anelotta, just without the opportunity to freeload on pastries, Linnea knew practically nothing about Mirai, and Issei and Galmei... it was a bit more complicated. After all, they were not only friends of Shogo, but also part of the squad that had protected her in the infirmary. Linnea couldn't help but feel grateful to them for that. And Issei, moreover, was also a fellow club member. Come to think of it, in the current team, ironically, he was one of her closest friends. In any case, even though Nei didn't have the opportunity to directly protect the people closest to her, she could at least protect someone dear to these people, besides herself.
