Grand Prix is actually not a competitive mode at all. At least, it doesn’t feel like one anymore. It’s… an analogue of the brawl in Heroes. And most likely, it will continue to move in this direction.
...And I won’t be surprised if one day we end up playing Grand Prix with Nicol and Maish, each with 40 HP.
(In Heroes, there’s a brawl where you dig up (choose) a new card from three random ones each turn. And another one where your entire deck consists of cards that say “Dig up a creature or spell.”)
