Latro sat on a stool, legs spread, one of which he was tapping, and with his arms crossed, eyebrows furrowed, and eyes half-closed. It turned out that inventing something new from scratch wasn't such an easy task. The choice of element for the experiment was obvious - water, because his standard amplifier didn't have any applications on the battlefield under that slot. Opening one eye, he noticed that the president was already tinkering with some kind of contraption - one couldn't expect anything less from Dark. Another young man was listlessly flipping through a manual, and yet another was staring into space, with his mouth slightly open and barely blinking. Deciding to set a positive example for them, Latro jumped up, whirled around to the box of parts, rummaged through it again, grabbed a handful of random bits and pieces, and dumped them with a crash onto the workbench next to the president's. Stretching his hands, fingers, neck, and shoulder girdle, he slapped himself hard on both cheeks and began to tinker with the metal. For starters, he decided to try something obvious - to create an amplifier that would provide the restoration of damaged body tissues directly in battle.
- Rain! - he proclaimed, raising a finger in the air. This was the working title for the first prototype; it seemed very logical to him.
