| The Rhemic Codex Chapter I: Loyalty In order for people to lead fulfilling lives, they must eliminate chaos and achieve order, both on a personal and societal level; having meaning, security, and knowing what needs to be done next in life brings hope and peace, allowing one to live a happy life. For this to be possible, everyone must know their place in society; the task of a subject is to inform the master about the incorrectness of his decision if he believes it to be so, but still carry out the command given to him if the master insists on it. It should always be remembered that the imperial decree, being the highest good for all the people of the empire, is absolute and must be carried out at all costs. Loyalty (1000) Character cannot be influenced; +5 Willpower, +5 Resistance; characters with the "demonic blood" trait receive +100% Stamina, +5% Accuracy, +5% Dodge. Chapter II: Courage and Honor A subject of the empire must understand what is right and act accordingly. Awareness of the correctness of an action and avoiding it is a lack of courage and leads to poisoning of the soul. Courage (1000) The character is not susceptible to fear; negates negative effects of the Barbarian, Distractibility, Cowardice, Loner, Laziness traits. Chapter III: Justice A subject of the empire must be fair and impartial towards everyone, including himself; failure to follow these basic principles leads to the decay of society and the weakening of the state. Justice (1000) +1 Charisma +2 Charisma if possessing the "natural leader" trait; negates negative effects of the Narcissism, Hatred of Men, Hatred of Women traits. Chapter IV: Courtesy, Restraint, and Benevolence A subject of the empire must always be aware of how to behave in society and alone with oneself. Politeness and good manners should be based on kindness and understanding of the feelings of those around him, but not on the fear of spoiling his image. Benevolence (600) Mercy: The character loses the penalty for Accuracy; healing spells cast on allies are always successful. Neatness: The character uses two rolls on tests and receives the highest result. Energy: +1 additional event per month. Luck: +20% chance to receive twice as much experience after training. Chapter V: Sincerity A subject of the empire must be sincere with himself and always express his true feelings and thoughts before others, provided that this does not jeopardize the fulfillment of his duty. Sincerity (1500) Intelligence: Learning speed +5%, Accuracy +1%. Perception: Critical hit +5%. Genius: Additional action. Nobility: +2 Charisma. Curiosity: +1 Event Points. Berserk: Damage is converted into Stamina. Sadism: Damage increased by 5%. Masochism: Self-inflicted damage reduced by 3%. Chapter VI: Beauty How can one stop being ugly and blossom like spring flowers? This question should concern everyone who lives in society, and a citizen of the empire, being part of a highly developed civilization, must leave behind a trace of beautiful fragrance, look good, and be stylishly dressed. Of course, not everyone is lucky enough to have natural beauty from birth, but in an age of high technology, neglecting cosmetic procedures is a crime. If everyone takes proper care of themselves, it will not only make the individual feel better about their own beauty, but also all members of society. Chapter VII: Diligence A subject of the empire must put forth every effort to achieve the best result regardless of how insignificant his activity may seem. Diligence (3000) Strength: Stamina +25. Agility: Dodge +1%. Resistance: Magic Resistance +5%. Light Footedness: Dodge +6%. Affinity: +100% to learning speed in chosen magic direction. Obsession with Magic: Magic learning speed +50%. Obsession with Ranged Weapons: Weapon skill learning speed +50%. Obsession with Melee Weapons: Melee weapon skill learning speed +50%. Obsession with Technology: Skill learning speed related to technology +60%. |
