Sacred Haven of Debauchery

I've been thinking a lot. In games, everything is simple. You decide to explore a new planet. A transport ship arrives, unloads, and then units start mining resources, a base is built, defenses are organized, and everyone lives happily ever after. You explore, build, and enjoy. But in reality, everything is more complicated. I can't even imagine that even if we find useful resources on nearby planets that could potentially be explored, the people who go there won't be the same people who live on Earth. It will be some new form of people. Maybe they will be cyborgs, but not the kind of "cyborgs" like a person with a phone, or those who have chips from credit cards implanted in their skin.
