The Empire of Reimia (3)

Linnea, as befitting a member of the winning team, listened to Parfynora’s speech with her head held high. The competition made the girl look at her fellow combatants with new eyes, each of whom had given their all to bring them victory. It even made her feel a certain respect for Evrial, whose leadership played a far from insignificant role in the squad’s success. And yet, despite all this, Neya fully agreed with Realgar’s concluding words – in real conditions, such a victory would have been achieved at the cost of the lives of all members of the squad. So, she was even a little glad that the old warrior brought the students, who were carried away by their success, back down to earth.
