The transfer of supreme power from Eugen Reime to Kamia Rinz was carried out over the past month and proceeded without any significant problems. On the day of the coronation, the emperor performed a ceremonial transfer of the symbols of state power, including artifacts created by their father during wartime, after which he officially renounced his claims to the throne and recognized Kamia Rinz, now Rinz Reime, as the new ruler of the empire. Eugen Reime, unfortunately, did not give the citizens of the empire a farewell speech and allowed his sister to remain the sole focus of attention at this solemn event. Rinz Reime, as described in one of the capital's magazines, proved to be a person born to rule others. On the day of the coronation, she demonstrated excellent speaking skills and the ability to win people over, and her presence, despite her fragile figure, was always noticeable and striking, capable of captivating the spirit. The coronation ended with great success to the applause of countless people, guests of the capital, and its residents. Despite this, just a week later, alarming news began to reach the students of the Reime Military Academy. First, one of the new empress's intentions, expressed on the day of the coronation, namely the desire to "restore the empire to its former glory," caused many of the empire's neighbors to become quite nervous and express their concerns about the future state of diplomatic relations. Second, the day after the coronation, "Reime Chronicles" released another issue, in which it unfavorably commented on the actions of the previous emperor in relation to his own duties, and the day after that, it was condemned for insulting the imperial family. The editor of the publication and some of the authors of the articles were executed by hanging in the central square. And third, Yuki Kamia left the academy. The official reason is resignation at his own request.
