The Empire of Reimia (3)

Bertrand and Berwang spent the rest of the day trying to learn circus skills. They attempted to walk on tightropes, juggle, breathe fire, and so on, but no one offered to teach them how to swallow swords yet; it was still too early for that.

Bertrand hadn't thought that doing such things could be interesting and even fun at times, especially when something didn't work out. Berwang also seemed to be enjoying himself, as could be seen from his face. When it was time to return to the academy, Bert thanked the circus performer (what was his name, anyway?) and asked when he could come back next time.
