— ...The next three years of your lives will be filled with all sorts of difficulties: your studies will not be easy, the expectations of your teachers will be endlessly demanding, and your relationships with your peers will not always be without misunderstandings. And yet, I believe that the strength of your young, hearts burning with pure flame, will allow you to overcome all obstacles on the path ahead. I express my deepest hope that each of you will be able to get from this academy everything it has to offer, and even more. You will become independent, free in your thoughts and ideas, acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for your future life, find true friends, and perhaps even love. And if our country ever has to go to war, remember that your task is not to die for your homeland, but to win, survive, and return to peaceful life, for it is young people like you who are the support of the empire and its future. Never stop moving forward, enjoy life, and support each other—that is my command to you.
