I need some advice. This concerns people who are knowledgeable. I was involved in a traffic accident at a pedestrian crossing (unregulated), and I broke my leg (3 fractures). According to the medical examination, it was classified as serious bodily harm. Article 264.2. The driver wants to settle out of court and is offering money (a small amount, 100k). He also has car insurance, and I have the documents to file a claim for compensation. The question is, what is the best course of action: wait for the court decision, or file a lawsuit for the damages caused to me? I have property losses of 100k, just from the accident.
