I was supposed to lose this game. The roads are terrible; it's a very long way to the Necropolis in one direction, where I sent Craig with air elementals. In the other direction, the road is blocked by a Guardian. It could be bypassed, but it would be a very long detour through rough terrain. As a result, I spent the first week stuck on one castle, which rarely happens in a mini-map game. In the second week, I used my birds to kill off the computer-controlled heroes above, and Craig, thanks to the tavern, managed to find meat and break through the blockade of the Nomads. Well, I killed the computer-controlled heroes. Then the question became: which third-tier town should I go to? And that was also a problem. Where I managed to break through, I ran into a blockade of 100+ Griffin Riders, which my hero couldn't possibly overcome. Fortunately, I upgraded Craig's Earth skill, went and destroyed the outpost. Then I desperately gathered resources and cleared the third-tier town that Craig had broken through to. I also saw that the Grail was near the confluence of the castle, I definitely saw the square, but then I was in for a surprise. I didn't dig up the Grail until the 4th week. I dug up about 18 tiles before I found it. It was very far away. Craig cleared the third-tier town, and I saw that the opponent in the middle of the 3rd week headed to the super-tier town between us. It smelled like trouble. But for some reason, the opponent didn't go to me. This gave me time, and I finally scraped together enough resources and, with 7 (I think) rebuilds, built a Town Portal. The second Utopia had a Castle Portal, so I had complete control and a perfect Craig. The opponent took my ramp, which I wasn't really worried about losing. When I dug up the Grail, there was no point in placing it at the confluence. I saw that I could kill the computer-controlled tavern hero that the opponent hadn't killed and place it there. That's what I did. Since I had the quest helmet-skull, the only question was to gather the Artifact of the Titans. Thanks to the entire map, I figured out how to break through to the village next to which there were a lot of Mermaids and the last remains were located, which I needed. In the middle of the 4th week, I had the Artifact of the Titans. At the end of the 4th week, I found the Crown of the Magi. Then the question became one of tactics. I had heroes with control, I had the Artifact of the Titans + Crown of the Magi. But the opponent himself settled on 211 in the main castle, where I ambushed him.
Thank you for the game! I hope I don't miss out on winning games in the future.
