The final (hopefully) changes have been made to the regulations: 1. One qualifying spot from the OFB has been added, at the expense of the third place in FB-12; the number of qualifying matches is planned to remain at 6 (4th-15th places). If the winner of the Novice tournament does not meet the rating requirement, there will be 7 qualifying matches (4th-17th places). 2. The pairings will be done manually, and the Buchholz coefficient will be calculated manually; I will only do this at the end of the tournament. A detailed description has been added:
The pairings and calculation of the Buchholz coefficient in the tournament will be done manually. In the pairings for each round, only the number of points scored will be taken into account. The rating and current Buchholz coefficient will not be taken into account. The principle for calculating the Buchholz coefficient: the sum of all the points scored by the player's opponents. There will be no difference between the points scored in a game and the points scored by default for the Buchholz coefficient. If a player leaves the tournament, for each round in which they are not paired, their opponents from previous rounds will receive one point in their Buchholz coefficient. When there is an odd number of participants in a round and one player is left without a pair, for that round they will receive a draw result against themselves in the Buchholz coefficient (they will receive a technical victory in the game table) according to the following formula: n+1*x, where n is the number of points the player has at the time of the round pairing in which they are left without an opponent, x is the number of rounds remaining until the end of the tournament, including the round in which the player is left without an opponent.
3. Jelen117 has become the third referee of the tournament.
The pairings are planned for Saturday, July 6, approximately after 5 PM Moscow time.
